No, I have not died. "You thought I was dead, but I sailed away, on a wave of mutilation."
Well, not really mutilation, but a wave of responsibilities and insomnia. I've been learning computer stuff, and law stuff, and scraping by by the skin of my teeth, but it's all coming together and I can see the other side for once and I'm coming out mostly clean.
In short, work and school have both been a pain, but I've got a job (well, a transfer from my old one, really) that I've been enjoying quite a bit, and school is almost out. Last couple classes are pretty easy, finals are coming up, my grades are better than they've been in a while (wrecking the bell curve for everyone else, though) and I've lost weight, thought weather that's due to being healthier, stress, or both is a matter up for debate. Personally, I don't care, all I know is soon, for once, I will have TIME.
On a slightly more annoying note, I had been writing (on and off) and my computer killed itself. Had to reboot from factory settings. Managed to save all my schoolwork before that happened, though, and all my work documents.
I've noticed that the death knell of a writer is when, instead of writing anything, the just keep saying they'll have something "soon," and that never comes. So instead of saying that, I will say this: I have time available. I have motivation to write again. I will see all of you shortly.
Keep your stick on the ice.
